What is considered a total loss?

A total loss is claimed by insurance when the repairs or salvage price of a vehicle exceeds the amount the vehicle is valued at by the company. In this case, replacing the old vehicle with a different equivalent would be more cost-effective.

At our shop, we will allow almost every vehicle to be repaired regardless of damage level. However, there are regulations that your insurance company has in order to determine the amount the company may invest into those repairs which is where a Total Loss may occur. If this is the case for your vehicle, we will help you with the paperwork needed to contact your insurance and find out the next steps.
